Full Description

Helsey House is an old Victorian farmhouse built in 1880s. Helsey Cottages have been converted from cattle sheds and stalls belonging to the dairy farm.
Helsey Cottages have been developed to a very high standard whilst maintaining original features and character of the buildings.
Free wi-fi access.There is ample parking in the grounds. The owners, Mark and Elizabeth Elvidge live on site so are available for help and advice.

Helsey House Cottages are in good location to explore the Lincolnshire coast with Skegness, Ingoldmells and Fantasy Island within 10 miles. The Lincolnshire Wolds are also closeby.
The nearest village is Hogsthorpe and has shops and pubs along with a restaurant.

Our two cottages are called ‘The Cow Shed’ and ‘The Dairy’. Both named after what they were in years gone by.
Both cottages have laminate flooring throughout, a fully fitted kitchen area located in the open plan living area.

Cooking is by electricity, and there is also a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment.
A toilet seat riser available for guests’ use – please indicate at the time of booking if required.
A cot and a high chair are available on request.

There is free wi-fi access for guests to use throughout their stay.

Outside the courtyard gardens are equipped with seating and barbecues. Each cottage has a selection of games and books as well as TV, DVD player and hi-fi systems.

Here at Helsey House Cottages we have tried to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
There are low energy light bulbs throughout our properties which are also super insulated. We have Solar panels on our roofs. There are also recycling facilities on site for guests to use.
We encourage guests to try and save energy where possible when they are on holiday, and also think about their carbon footprint by cycling,walking, and using public transport where possible rather than using the car.
